The birth of a blogger ;)

I am not a blogger by any chance till now. Neither was I a fan of blogging.. 😉 But being honest, I was a bit curious to know how the things work out here.. 😀 I have heard of many, both famous and not so famous people who write blogs. Still I didn’t feel to try my luck here until I realized that this blogging has something to do with my appraisal on my work.. 😉 And I am here now one among the bloggers.. 😉 Here goes my story..

One day my manager aka TL called for a quick meeting with our team to discuss about our progress in the path of achievement of our objectives, which we must meet for our appraisal process. The objectives were set long before.. But each of us were competing with the snail to win the slowest crawler award on that.. 😉 By the way, I missed out to hint on my job. I am a Software Engineer.. So one of our optional objective was to contribute technical articles. For that TL put forward an idea to start a blog and share our (technical) challenges which we face each day on our work. It sounded appealing for the team.

We went for coffee after a day or two and by that time, we (the team) almost forgot about the blogging idea as if we had short term memory loss (as usual).. But our TL didn’t have such a syndrome.. 😉 He asked us whether we had thought of a name to our blog.. We were like, ‘blog…! whats that..!!??’ He shared the name which was in his mind. When we were back in office we seriously discussed about the name for our blog.. There were many suggestions. And after a long session of brain storming, we came to a conclusion and shortlisted some names.

Without any loss of time, the naming ceremony began. The name which we preferred first was taken by somebody else.. 😦 But we had another fantastic name with us..!! And our blog was named “pumexintellecto.wordpress.com“. TL sent invitation to all of us and we signed up to become bloggers..! Even though we were not sure, how long will this blogging last, we boasted that we will write blogs regularly . 😉 There is someone in our team who is gonna write a blog per day.. 😀

On the next day (today) when i saw that one of  my team mate has signed up for a personal blog too, I also wanted to be in the privilege of having a blog of my own..! 😉 And I  created my own blog, “anjurajpillai.wordpress.com” . By that time our TL had his first post in our PumexIntellecto. But he is not completely satisfied by the theme of the blog.. 😉 and is still experimenting on it.. 🙂

So I have my first post in my blog now.. 🙂 Feeling very happy.. Oh.. I have to blog technically to save my appraisal next. Tomorrows are the days to blog.. In Malayalam as we say, “blog kalude vasantha kaalathinai kaathirikkam..” 🙂 🙂

I don’t know whether this post satisfies the criteria to become a blog..;) Any ways..thanks for reading..! God bless..!!!
